SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAM  

Pallet Lumber tracks all recycled, broken, and used pallets that are returned to our facilities and calculates the board feet recycled by each company during a given time period.  Every year we update our recycling recognition plaque to reflect that company’s current recycled board footage and time partnered with that vendor.  Pallet Lumber is dedicated to recycling efforts and believes this is an excellent way to show companies the impact of their recycling efforts.  We can all work together to reduce our carbon footprint and go “green!”

FACT: The amount of wood and paper we throw away each year is enough to heat 50,000,000 homes for 20 years!

At Pallet Lumber, we believe it is important to be at the forefront of the solution.

With our efforts and commitment to recycling, we purchased grinders which are in operation daily to minimize over-usage of our landfills and supply livestock bedding, mulch, and woodchip fuel.
